SENIOR (2018-19): Appeared in 21 games… Averaged 2.3 points and 1.7 rebounds per night... Put together a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds in a win over Denver on Dec. 30... Swatted away four shots.
JUNIOR (2017-18): Summit League Academic Honor Roll... Played in 18 games… averaged 1.1 points on 64.3 percent from the field (9-14) and 1.4 rebounds… registered a season-high five points against Denver (Feb. 24)
SOPHOMORE (2016-17): Played in 19 games, coming off of the bench in each... Averaged 6.7 minutes, 1.9 points and 1.5 rebounds per game... Shot .615 from the floor (16-26)... Scored four points in four contests and a season-best six points and grabbed three rebounds at home versus Fort Wayne (Feb. 25).
FRESHMAN (2015-16): Played in five games... Averaged 2.8 minutes per game... Scored two points on the season and grabbed four rebounds... Made both of the free throws that he attempted.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from James B. Conant... Played for coach Tom McCormack... Averaged 12 points, eight rebounds and three blocks as a senior... In his high school team's 2015 regional championship victory, Hughes scored 15 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and recorded five blocks and was named the team's 'Most Improved Player'.
