Biography

SENIOR (2016): Started in all 11 games at right guard... helped the team rank 12th nationally in time of possession, 20th in tackles for a loss allowed, 31st in sacks allowed and 32nd in total offense... unit recorded three 100-yard rushing games and six games of 300-plus yards passing.

JUNIOR (2015): Played in all 13 games and started all 13... 11 starts at right tackle and two at right guard... helped an offensive unit turn in the fifth-most total yards in program history (5,119)… offense boasted of a 1,000-yard rusher and ranked 22nd nationally in redzone offense… unit ranked 28th in tackles for a loss allowed and 32nd in sacks allowed.

SOPHOMORE (2014): Honorable Mention All-Missouri Valley Football Conference... started all 12 games at tackle... MVFC 'Offensive Lineman of the Week'... helped the unit boast of a 1,200-yard rusher and near 3,000-yard passer... offensive unit recorded 72 more yards per game in total offense than in 2013... offensive line helped WIU rank eighth nationally in tackles for a loss allowed.

REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN (2013): Did not see any game action... named to the MVFC Academic Honor Roll.

FRESHMAN (2012): Redshirted

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered two years in football and three in basketball... played for coach Paul Bassler... two-time All-Conference... Honorable Mention All-Area in 2010, Second Team All-Area in 2011... Honorable Mention All-State following his senior year.

PERSONAL: Born July 31, 1994... son of Steve and Barb Zobrist... enjoys all sports... No. 1 sports highlight was going 8-1 his senior year... his family has been a major influence, "They wanted to see me succeed."
