SENIOR (2011): Started all seven games he played in at center... received the Wes Stevens 'Offensive Lineman of the Year' award... broke his hand early in the season-opener and returned in mid-October... helped pave way for four of the five 100-yard rushing games this year... voted 2011 Preseason All-Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) in a vote by the coaches, sports information directors and media... voted to the Phil Steele Preseason College Football Second Team All-MVFC at center.
JUNIOR (2010): One of two Leathernecks to receive the Presidential Academic Excellence Award from the MVFC... played and started in the first 10 games of the season at center... missed the final three games due to an injury... helped the offense to a record-setting season, finishing third in total offense (457.2 yards), 11th in scoring offense (32.5), 13th in passing offense (266.5 yards) and 23rd in rushing offense (190.7 yards)... scored 40-plus points in five games... received the Robert Blaha, Sr. Scholarship Award, given to the Leatherneck for a combination of academics, team leadership and overall contributions to the team.
SOPHOMORE (2009): Started against Missouri State and played in eight games in all...Earned the 2009-10 Student-Athlete Provost Award... Academic Excellence Award from the MVFC.
REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN (2008): Played against Quincy and Indiana State... Academic Excellence Award from the MVFC.
FRESHMAN (2007): Redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football and wrestling four years.
PERSONAL: Son of Frank and Glenda Valle... born Aug. 18, 1985... is the brother of former Leatherneck offensive linemen Frank (2002-06) and Brett Valle (2004-08)... also has an uncle, Cam, who was a Leatherneck fullback from 1984-85... his parents have been a major influence, “They’ve supported my brothers and I through everything.”... most admires NFL lineman Mike Goff, “He’s an offensive lineman from my hometown that made it all the way to the NFL.”... enjoys the guitar... favorite professional teams are the Chicago Bears, Cubs, Blackhawks and Bulls... favorite music group is Avenged Sevenfold.
