JUNIOR (2010): Second Team Academic All-MVFC... Received the Academic Excellence Award from the MVFC... saw action in all 13 games... served as the holder on all place kicks... caught five passes totaling 88 yards, including a long of 45 yards... two catches at Missouri State and three at Southern Illinois... took over punt return duties midway through season and averaged 9.3 yards per return (16 returns/149 yards)... finished third in the league and 31st nationally in punt returns... received the team's Green Beret Award honoring play on special teams.
SOPHOMORE (2009): Honorable Mention Academic All-MVFC... received the Academic Excellence Award from the MVFC... saw his first action as a Leatherneck after sitting out the 2008 season due to transfer rules... received the Dr. Frank Sorenson Award for Academic Achievement, given to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA... played in 10 games, mainly on special teams...Earned the 2009-10 Student-Athlete Provost Award.
REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN (2008): Redshirted due to NCAA transfer rules.
AT CORNELL: Used one year of eligibility.
HIGH SCHOOL: First Team All-Conference, All-Area and All-State selection after posting 1,469 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns to place No. 2 in Macomb High School history in both categories... ended his career in second place with 2,666 rushing yards and 42 touchdowns... was the Macomb Journal Player of the Year and the KHQA Offensive Player of the Year... earned offensive Most Valuable Player honors in the KHQA All-Star Do or Die Bowl and the Shrine All-Star Game... set a school single-game record with 324 rushing yards in just three quarters of work and a career scoring record of 268 points... also a First Team All-Conference and All-Area baseball player... captained the football, basketball and baseball teams... basketball team his junior year advanced to the state quarterfinals... a three-year member of the National Honor Society... played for coach Kelly Sears.
