Biography

2009 (SENIOR): First Team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference (three-time First Team selection)... recently named to the Texas vs. The Nation All-Star game... recorded 16 pass-breakups, good for second in the nation... returned a fumble 88 yards for a touchdown in the Missouri State game and recorded a 15-yard interception return... season-high seven tackles at Illinois State... five tackles against Stephen F. Austin and North Dakota State... made four tackles versus Sam Houston State, Northern Illinois and Southern Illinois... season-high four PBU at SHSU and Indiana State... blocked a kick at Illinois State... finished career with 35 PBU, third all-time and one shy of the record, to go with his six interceptions (41 career passes defended in 42 games).

2008 (JUNIOR): 
First Team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference... had a 16-yard interception return against Quincy... had six solo tackles in a win over Missouri State and five in a win against Illinois State... broke up a team-high eight passes, ranking sixth in the league... had two PBUs against Arkansas... 24 of his 32 tackles were solo stops... also added two tackles for loss... had at least four tackles on five occasions... started seven times... named to the Consensus Draft Services Preseason All-America Honorable Mention Team.

2007 (SOPHOMORE): First Team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference... Honorable Mention All-America (The Sports Network)... started 10 games and appeared in all 11... collected two interceptions in a season-opening win over South Dakota State... named Gateway Player of the Week after intercepting SDSU's first and last pass of the 5-OT game... also had an interception at Indiana State... totaled 41 tackles... ranked fifth in the league with 9 passes defended... tied for second in the league with three interceptions... season-high eight tackles at Youngstown State... part of a defense that led the league in sacks and pass defense... team also ranked 22nd nationally in pass defense and 25th in pass efficiency defense.

2006 (FRESHMAN):
Played in nine games as a true freshman, working his way into a starting cornerback spot for the last four games... named to the Gateway All-Newcomer Team... registered 14 solo stops, 24 tackles and five pass breakups in his four starts... tallied more total tackles than any other Gateway freshman defensive back... ranked ninth in pass breakups during league play and first among freshmen... was one of nine Leathernecks to record an interception, his coming against Kentucky Wesleyan in the second game of his career... was also a member of the Leatherneck basketball team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned first-team basketball all-conference honors as a senior... was the state's 23rd-highest scorer... tabbed the best free throw percentage in Oregon as a junior... played in the Portland high school basketball all-star game... finished his basketball career at Centennial as the school's 12th-best scorer in a season and 20th most prolific scorer in a career... listed among "Who's Who Among American High School Students."... rated the ninth best Oregon football prospect by Rivals.com... rushed for 1,253 yards and 15 touchdowns as an all-state senior quarterback... also earned all-state first-team honors at defensive back... named league's Offensive Player of the Year... earned all-league first-team nods at quarterback, defensive back and running back during his career... selected to the 2005 U.S. Army All-American Bowl... was a team captain and starter in the 2006 Les Schwab All Star Bowl game.

PERSONAL: Son of Patrick, Sr. and Tammy Stoudamire... born February 21, 1988... major is biology... cousin of the NBA's Salim Stoudamire (Milwaukee Bucks) and 13-year veteran (retired) Damon Stoudamire... cousin of eight-year NFL veteran (San Diego, Washington) Chris Mims.
