FRESHMAN (2012): During his four games played he started twice... 34-of-70 passing for 321 yards and six interceptions... made his debut against in game eight at Missouri State... threw for 42 yards in the contest... went 9-for-18 against UNI for 97 yards, including a long of 41... completed 10-of-18 passes for 90 yards versus Youngstown State... first collegiate touchdown was a 1-yard sneak in the first quarter... completed 9-of-19 passes for 92 yards at Southern Illinois before leaving the game right before halftime with an injury.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year starter in football... Honorable Mention All-State by the Associated Press his last two years... three-time All-Mid-State Conference... invited three consecutive years to the Football University Top Gun All-Star Camp... helped team win the Mid-State Conference championship his junior year... received the 2011 John Koontz Toughness Award... named Herf Jones MVP in a game played at Lucas Oil Stadium (home of the Indianapolis Colts)... voted team captain... compiled 6,926 passing yards and 67 touchdowns with a 64.3 percent completion rate throughout his career... played for coach Fred Kutruff... lettered two years in basketball.
