MACOMB, IL. — Western Illinois University women's tennis student-athlete and aspiring coach Nour Gueblaoui was recently selected by her peers to receive the 2026 Peer Recognition Award as part of the Youth & High School Women Coaches Academy Class #6, hosted by WeCOACH.

Gueblaoui participated in the 2026 Youth & High School Women Coaches Academy this past Saturday, joining fellow aspiring and current coaches from across the country. At the conclusion of the academy, members of the class voted Gueblaoui to receive the Peer Recognition Award.

The annual award recognizes a member of the Academy class who best exemplifies the qualities expected of an outstanding coach, leader, role model and mentor.

For Gueblaoui, the recognition adds another accomplishment to an already promising coaching journey. In addition to competing as a member of the Western Illinois women's tennis program, she is pursuing her goal of becoming a tennis coach and continues to seek opportunities to develop her leadership and coaching skills.

Gueblaoui is also an active participant in Cohort #1 of the USTA Coaching Serving All: Aspiring Women Coaches Program, powered by WeCOACH. The program provides aspiring women coaches with opportunities to develop their coaching skills, build connections and grow within the tennis community.

WeCOACH will recognize Gueblaoui as its Member Spotlight on Friday, September 4, across its social media platforms. Western Illinois Athletics encourages the Leatherneck community to join in celebrating Gueblaoui and sharing her recognition.

Gueblaoui's recognition highlights the growing impact of WIU student-athletes beyond competition and reflects her dedication to leadership, mentorship and the continued growth of women's tennis.
