MACOMB, Ill. — Western Illinois University Athletics is inviting women and girls ages 8 and older to step inside the world of Leatherneck Football during its annual Ladies Football Night, an interactive evening designed to give participants an unforgettable behind-the-scenes experience with the WIU football program.
Whether you're a lifelong football fan or completely new to the game, Ladies Football Night offers a fun, welcoming environment for women of all abilities to experience Leatherneck Football like never before.
The evening begins with a tailgate outside Western Hall featuring light appetizers (BYOB), where participants will receive a WIU T-shirt and two tickets to the Leathernecks' first home game of the season against Northwestern College on Thursday, August 27.
Guests will then enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of WIU's football facilities before taking part in an engaging "Chalk Talk" led by the Leatherneck coaching staff, offering an inside look at football strategy, terminology and game preparation.
The night concludes under the lights on the newly renovated turf at Hanson Field, where WIU coaches and players will lead optional football drills, giving participants the chance to throw, catch, kick and experience the game firsthand in a fun, supportive atmosphere.
Tickets are $20 per person and include:
● Exclusive WIU Ladies Football Night T-shirt
● Two tickets to the WIU vs. Northwestern College home opener on August 27
● Light appetizer tailgate (BYOB)
● Behind-the-scenes tour of WIU football facilities
● Chalk Talk with WIU football coaches

Ladies Football Night is open to women and girls ages 8 and older of all experience levels. Participants are encouraged to wear athletic clothing and tennis shoes. Parking will be available in the Q Lot.
