Perfect 4.0 GPAs Earn Leathernecks OVC Academic Medal of Honor Recognition

MACOMB, Ill.- Western Illinois University student-athletes continue to demonstrate excellence beyond the field of play, as the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) announced its annual Academic Medal of Honor, Commissioner's Honor Roll, and team academic achievement awards. WIU is proud to celebrate the outstanding academic performance of its student-athletes, who have earned recognition for their commitment to success in the classroom during the 2024–25 academic year.

The OVC Academic Medal of Honor is given annually to the student-athletes who achieve the highest grade point average in a Conference-sponsored sport. Every Academic Medal of Honor recipient for the 2024-25 academic year carried a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
