MACOMB, Ill. – First year head coach Scott Barnes is kicking off a spring fundraiser for the men's and women's track and field/cross country programs this week, which is aimed at raising funds to directly enhance the program. The campaign, which will run through the Western Challenge on April 24, 2025, looks to raise funds for travel and competition, equipment updates, and additional program needs.
"Our 2024-25 seasons are going well so far!" said Barnes. "Men's and women's cross country both had their best finishes in the OVC last fall, and we've had many indoor track and field records broken this spring. With your support, we will continue to do great things for WIU!"
Every contribution, regardless of size, will play a part in helping the track and field/cross country programs be successful this season. To make a donation to the campaign, please click here.
