MACOMB, IL – Get ready for an unforgettable evening of basketball excitement as Western Illinois University Athletics hosts Monday Madness, a men's and women's basketball tip-off event on Monday, October 23. The free event will take place inside Western Hall, with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. and all the action beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Fans will have their first opportunity to catch a glimpse of what the 2023-24 season has in store, with a performance by the cheerleaders, a three-point contest, a slam-dunk contest, and scrimmages for both the men's and women's teams. There will also be contests for fans, a chance to meet the coaches and student-athletes during an autograph session, and fans will also have the opportunity to pick out and purchase available season tickets, as well as take home their 2023-24 basketball schedule posters.
All fans and WIU students are invited to join us for a night that promises to kickstart a season of unparalleled basketball action.
