As many of you already know, the Missouri Valley Football Conference recently announced plans to postpone the upcoming conference slate to spring 2021. The announcement also permitted member institutions to compete in non-conference play at their own discretion. 

Unfortunately, WIU will not be playing football this fall, and while I share in your disappointment, I am also hopeful for the upcoming spring season. 

The MVFC will play a full eight-game league schedule with the expectation to culminate the season with the FCS Playoffs. 

Football season ticket sales will be suspended until closer to the spring season, and as more details become available, athletic staff will be in contact with all who renewed for the 2020 season. 

Leatherneck fans who previously purchased season tickets will have three options. 

Option 1: Transfer season tickets to the spring season
Option 2: Transfer payment to the Leatherneck Club as a tax-deductible donation
Option 3: Receive a full refund
