Homecoming
The trip to DePaul will serve as a bit of a homecoming for Chicago natives on the Leatherneck roster: head coach Rob Jeter, assistant coach Nick Irvin, and current players Tamell Pearson, Cameron Burrell, Marcus Watson Jr., and Ramean Hinton

On the Board 
The Leathernecks lead the Summit League and rank 11th in the NCAA in offensive rebounds per game (15.0). Tamell Pearson is managing a team-best 3.33 boards per game, while Will Carius and Cameron Burrell add 3.0 and 2.5, respectively. 

Offensive Production 
Western Illinois is one of four programs in the Summit League with at least three players averaging double-figures. Tamell Pearson and Justin Brookens lead the Leathernecks with 12.3 PPG and Will Carius is adding 11.3.

The Scout
After a series of cancellations and postponements due to COVID-19, the Blue Demons will open their 2020-21 season against WIU … the team is playing its fourth season at Wintrust Arena; the facility is home to the WNBA's Chicago Sky and also hosted the 2020 NBA All-State Weekend … Charlie Moore was named first team preseason All-Big East; he averaged 15.5 points last season to rank eighth in the conference … DePaul welcomed six newcomers to its 2020-21 roster
