Series History | The Leathernecks look to double their wins over Holy Family College, previously known as Silver Lake, as the two tango in their second all-time meeting this Thursday.

Dec. 2, 2015 | W, 84-49

The 2015-16 season saw Western begin the season 6-1 with win No. 6 picked up over Holy Family. The start was only the third of its kind in Western's Division I era.

Last Time Out | Western Illinois and Eastern Illinois continued their 91-year history Monday night, where the Panthers held on to the 'Old Railsplitter Ax' in an 85-47 win inside Western Hall.

The uncharacteristic outing for the Leathernecks featured a season-low 47 points, paired with an unusual 64.7 free-throw clip, and a season-high 19 turnovers.

EIU scored a fourth of their points on the Western miscues.

NBA Ties | The New York Knicks named Mike Miller as their interim head coach in December (2019) and the Monmouth, Ill., native has ties to Leatherneck men's basketball. He served as an assistant coach during the 1989-90 season and helped the team to a third-place finish in the MidCon (6-6) with an overall record of 16-13.

Tip-Ins

· Holy Family will serve as the Leathernecks final tune-up before Summit League play
· Consistency – Western has sent the same starting lineup to the floor in seven out of eight games this season; C.J. Duff missed just one game after recovering from oral surgery
