The Series | The Leathernecks hold a 37-23-4 edge in the all-time series.
Last season, Western kicked a 34-yard field goal in the final 13 seconds to end an 18-year drought in Saluki Stadium. The team trailed by 17 points entering the final quarter before outscoring SIU, 20-0, in the 34-31 comeback success.
Vs. the Top Ranked Team in the Nation | Despite the 57-21 final, no one has scored more points against North Dakota State in Missouri Valley Football Conference play this season. The Leathernecks' 21 points also marked the second-most since the Bisons' 47-22 win over #18/18 Delaware in week three.
The Return Game | Justin Hall ran for a career-high, Valley-high 140 kick return yards at North Dakota State. The Northern Illinois transfer currently manages 669 combined return yards to guide the MVFC and rank 13th in the FCS.
