Date/Tipoff: Nov. 21, 2018 | 3:30 p.m.

Series History: The Seahawks hold a slight 1-0 edge in the all-time series after defeating the Leathernecks, 96-67, in the teams' lone meeting back in 2003.

Western's Last Outing: Western Illinois and Eastern Illinois will face each other twice in the 2018-19 season, and round one went to the Panthers in a 68-66 overtime decision.

The decision evens the all-time series at 81-all, and the last two games have been decided by two points.

There were four ties and three lead changes in the final eight minutes of Saturday's contest and at the end of regulation, the scoreboard read 60-60. C.J. Duff and Isaac Johnson swished unanswered three-pointers to start the extra period, but the Panthers capped the game with an 8-0 run.

Nation's Best: We're four games into the 2018-19 season, and Brandon Gilbeck has a nation-leading 21 blocks. The senior recorded a career-high nine at Eastern Illinois to crown a stellar outing where he also posted a career-high 19 rebounds.

The EIU game marked Gilbeck's first time leading the team in rebounds this season. He became the first Leathernecks to post 15 or more since Tate Stensgaard pulled down 15 against Eastern on Dec. 12, 2015.

Double-Double: Isaac Johnson became the second Leatherneck this season to post a double-double after contributing 13 points and 11 rebounds at Eastern Illinois. The sophomore has four double-doubles in his career.

Ohio Valley: The Leathernecks' 2018-19 schedule features five games against Ohio Valley competition (Eastern Illinois, UT Martin, SEMO and SIUE).

The Leathernecks will face EIU twice with the second contest occurring inside Western Hall on Dec. 8.

Scouting the Skyhawks: UT Martin (1-2) hopes to avoid its third straight loss, coming off of decisions at Western Kentucky (86-71) and Mercer (77-60).

Through three games, guard Derek Hawthorne leads the team in points (44), assists (10), steals (3) and minutes played (93).
