Megan McGlone has been tabbed the WIU Hampton Inn Scholar-Athlete of the Week for her performance in the heptathlon this past weekend at the Drake Relays.

The senior posted a new personal best in the heptathlon with a total of 4,526 points to move up to fifth all-time in program history. She ran a personal best in the 100-meter hurdles (15.37), the long jump (5.25 meters) and the javelin (26.38 meters).

The Streamwood, Illinois, native is majoring in biology with a 3.583 GPA.
