What’s the best part about competing at Western Illinois?Â
- The best part about competing here at WIU is being able to experience a higher level of soccer with an amazing group of girls who are family.Â
What is your favorite memory so far at WIU?Â
- My favorite memory so far is beating UIC and scoring two goals. It was a tough game and being able to score two goals on top of heating them
Do you have any pregame superstitions?Â
- Yes, I have several. I always have to listen to music before a game and eat skittles/starbursts. If I don’t do these things, then I feel as though I won’t be able to perform properly.Â
Do you have a favorite soccer player who you emulate your game after?Â
- I don’t have an ultimate favorite, but I do like watching Mbappe, Ronaldo, Sterling as they are players who play in my position and who I can look up to. In terms of female soccer players, I look up to Lucy Bronze and Nikita Paris.
What’s the best piece of advice you have ever received?Â
- The best piece of advice I have ever received is that life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. Reacting in a positive way to losing a game or bad performances will make you more determined to do better next time instead of dwelling on the negatives.Â
If you could play another sport outside of soccer, what would it be and why?Â
- I am honestly just obsessed with soccer, but if I had to play another sport, it would be basketball. It’s fun to play even though I don’t understand the rules at all.Â
You can only watch one movie and listen to one song for the rest of your life, what are they?Â
- I would listen to LANY - Pink skies and watch the movie ‘The Impossible’Â
