Student Watch Party Set for Tuesday at University Union

Western Illinois students can stop by the University Union Food Court, starting at 12:30 p.m.

MACOMB, Ill. – Western Illinois University students are invited to attend the Summit League Tournament championship game 'Watch Party', set for Tuesday (March 7) at the University Union. The event starts at 12:30 p.m. and the Athletics Department is offering pizza for the first 100 students.

The top-seeded Leatherneck women's basketball team will take on two-seed IUPUI in the championship game Tuesday, with a berth to the NCAA Tournament on the line.

WIU Athletics will also have prizes and giveaways for the students. The game, aired live on ESPNU, will also be aired in all the dining centers across campus.
