Women’s Basketball Selection Show Watch Party Set for Western Hall

Fans welcome to join Leatherneck Basketball on Monday, with a social set for 5 p.m.

MACOMB, Ill. – Western Illinois women's basketball and the department of athletics will hold a NCAA Tournament Selection Show Watch Party on Monday (March 13) inside Western Hall.

The event will begin at 5 p.m. in the Hall of Fame room as fans will have an opportunity to meet the players and coaches, and take pictures with the Summit League Tournament Championship trophy.

Head coach JD Gravina will address the crowd at 5:45 p.m., followed by the Selection Show announcement of where and who Western will play at 6 p.m. The Selection Show will air live on ESPN.

Western (26-6 overall) won the Summit League regular season title and also captured the League's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament following a thrilling 77-69 overtime win over IUPUI on Tuesday in the Tournament title game.
