Ray Page (deceased),1976 - Voted MVP on the 1942 basketball squad, Ray went on to a stellar high school basketball coaching career, which included an Illinois state championship at Springfield High in 1959. He went on to serve as Illinois Superintendent of Public Instruction from 1963-71.
