Larry Derry, 1994 - Sports director and play-by-play announcer for WKAI, WLMD, and WLRB, Larry has been the "Voice of the Leathernecks" and "Voice of the Macomb High Bombers" for the past 30 seasons. He retired from teaching after 33 years in secondary schools of Illinois, including 18 years at Macomb High School. A graduate of WIU with a bachelor's and master's degree in education, he was a 1990 inductee into the Illinois High School Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
