HIGH SCHOOL: Comes to the Purple and Gold as a long jump and triple jumper, most recently as a member of the Bahamas CARIFTA Team (U18), where she finished sixth in the triple jump. From Queen's College in Nassau, Bahamas, Peterson was the Junior Nationals U-18 Triple Jump Champion, and runner-up in the long jump. She is also a Bahamas High School Nationals U-18 Girls Triple Jump Champion and runner-up in the long jump as well. She also earned the Bahamas Association of Independent Secondary Schools (BAISS) Student Leader Award, as well as the Beverly A. Brice Memorial Award (most well-rounded female student-athlete) at her school.
