The athletic communications field is continually evolving, and her talents in social media, video, and public relations are an asset that will help Leatherneck Athletics connect with a wider audience and tell our collective story," said Western's Director of Athletics Matt Tanney.

"I'm beyond grateful to Mr. Tanney, Darian Westerfield and the rest of the hiring committee for the opportunity to join the Leatherneck staff," said Williamson. "From my first visit, I knew Western Illinois University was a special place. I look forward to sharing the stories of our student-athletes, coaches and staff."
