Leatherneck Football Announces Free Ticket Giveaway

Western Illinois to give away 1,000 free tickets for the Saturday (Nov. 18) football game against Southern Illinois

MACOMB, Ill.— Thanks to a generous donation from the Western Illinois University Foundation Office, Leatherneck Athletics kicks off its "Necksgiving" ticket promotion, with an offer of 1,000 complimentary tickets to the football team's 'Senior Day' this Saturday, (Nov. 18) vs. Southern Illinois. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

'Necksgiving' is an opportunity for WIU Athletics and the WIU Foundation Office to provide all campus and community personnel with a day full of family, fun and Leatherneck Football as a thank you for their continued support.

A complimentary ticket may be picked up in Western Hall at the athletics ticket office – Western Hall 103. Tickets must be secured by this (Friday, Nov. 17) at noon. Groups of 10 or more interested in attending Saturday's game, including any parties with high-school aged students, should contact the ticket office directly for more details.
