Help Western Win $20,000 in Scholarships

Vote for Western Illinois in the NCAA Let's Dance Competition for a chance to win $20,000 in scholarships.

MACOMB, Ill. - For the second consecutive year, Western Illinois University has a chance to win an NCAA fan-voting competition and win money to put towards its general scholarship fund. After a national runner-up finish in the 2014 6th Fan Contest, Western Illinois is one of 18 finalists in this year's NCAA Let's Dance Competition.

Thanks to a fan-submitted video (courtesy of senior broadcasting student Andrew Bacon) and initial support, Western Illinois will represent The Summit League in the second round of competition. Fans can go to ncaaletsdance.com before March 1, 2015 to vote for Western.Fans can vote up to 10 times per person, per e-mail address, per day.

Following the second round voting period, the top four vote recipients will receive prizes. The Grand Prize winner earning $20,000 towards his/her Division I institution of choice general scholarship fund.

All Eligible Entries submitted and approved by the Sponsor will be organized based on the Designated School of the Entrant into groups based on the Division I Conference (e.g., SEC, BIG 10, WAC, etc.) to which the Designated School belongs and will be judged and awarded points up to the maximum as listed below based on the following criteria: a) Entertainment Value - Is your Video something that people just love to watch again and again? Whether simple or complex, post a masterpiece that would make you, your friends, your school and even your rivals proud - up to 400 points; b) Level of Fandom - Did you show your school pride? This is your chance to share your fandom and love for NCAA Basketball with the world. Throw on the team colors and show your school spirit - up to 400 points; and c) Originality - Is your Video unique? Be creative. Be funny. Be weird. Be whatever makes you, unmistakably, you - up to 400 points (collectively, "Judging Criteria"). Entries will be judged by representatives of the Sponsor ("Judges"). No information regarding Entries or judging, other than as set forth in these Official Rules, will be disclosed and Judges' decisions are final.
