Tune to WGEM Every Thursday for Football Coach Bob Nielson

QUINCY, Ill. – Every Thursday throughout the football season on WGEM in Quincy, fans can listen and watch Western Illinois football coach Bob Nielson discuss the Leatherneck football team and program.

Every Thursday morning around 7:50 a.m., Coach Nielson will be on the air live with Josh Houchins on WGEM SportsCenter AM 1440. The WGEM ESPN 1440 app (to listen to the show live on your tablet or mobile device) is available for download on iTunes and Google Play for free.

During the 6 p.m. newscast on WGEM-TV, sports director Ben Marth interviews Coach Nielson and two players for the weekly "On the Sidelines" segment, discussing the past week's game and looking ahead to the upcoming schedule. Every Saturday night during the sports section of the broadcast, WGEM will recap that day's game with video highlights from both home and road games.
