For the First Time Ever... LEATHERNECK MADNESS

Come meet the 2014-15 men's and women's basketball teams inside Western Hall Tuesday, Oct. 28, for the first ever Leatherneck Madness.

MACOMB, Ill. - The Western Illinois athletic department is slated to host the Leatherneck Madness next week where fans are welcome to attend and meet the 2014-15 men's and women's basketball teams. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 28, beginning at 7 p.m. inside Western Hall on LeRoy A. Ufkes court.

The event will have FREE food. It will also feature FREE prizes including: an iPad 4, a $100 Hyvee gift card, a $50 Buffalo Wild Wings, and exclusive Western Illinois basketball apparel giveaways. All WIU students in attendance will be eligible for all prizes!

Leatherneck Madness will kick-off with the Western Illinois cheerleaders and Rocky the mascot entertaining the crowd, followed by games for WIU students in attendance.

Both the men's and women's teams will then be introduced, followed by speeches from head men's basketball coach Billy Wright and head women's basketball coach JD Gravina.

Other items on the schedule include a Three-Point contest, Celebrity Shootout, a shot for an iPad 4, student contests with both teams, and other prizes. This will be an EPIC event that you DON'T WANT TO MISS!
